On 20 March, Fr Lemos celebrated his 70th Anniversary as a Catholic Priest. He retired as parish priest of St Anthony’s Portugese Church in Mayfair in 2018.
Fr Lemos is also the oldest member of the Society of St Vincent in South Africa. National President, Vincent Williams, and his predecessor, Peter Keshwar, were there to celebrate this momentous occasion honouring Fr Lemos.
