Anyone who’s spent time in Bloemfontein knows that winters can be extreme … with bitter winds sending night time temperatures below zero.
With winter well on the way, St Rose Conference has been running regular soup kitchens for the needy, as well as a blanket drive to provide cosy blankets and warm winter clothing for elderly and others in need.
Further afield, our Namaqualand conference identified a need for disposable nappies for babies born into underprivileged families.
