On 28 September 2023, an unknown person or persons entered the Blessed Sacrament Church in Malvern, Johannesburg, and caused considerable malicious damage.
Statues were smashed, the podium broken, pages ripped from the Holy Bible and chalices bent – it was completely desecrated. Parish priest, Fr Andrew Knott, was away on pilgrimage at the time. We pray for Fr Andrew and the parishioners.
