Clement Venter passes away

Clement Venter

Clem Venter, formerly South African National Council President of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, passed away after a short illness on 23 September 2024.

Clem was a devoted member of SSVP for over 52 years, having served in various conferences, on Gauteng Central Council and as National President from 2013 to 2016. He had a passion for helping the poor and spent many hours visiting people in their homes and providing food and clothing.  He also served SSVP International as the training officer for the Africa 2 region.

His service and dedication will be sorely missed by those he served and the members who knew him.

On behalf of all involved in SSVP South Africa, we convey our condolences to his family and friends.
