SSvP conferences around the country rally to help KZN flood victims

Donations for KZN flood victims

On 5 May members of SSVP Soweto willingly volunteered their time to help sort and pack clothing, ready for transportation to Durban, where it will be distributed to victims of the recent floods.

Supporting the SSVP members were youth from the 2022 Confirmation Class. St Thomas More conference also sent boxes of clothing donated for KZN flood victims.

On Friday 13 May 2022 Ronelle Govender, Central Council President for Durban,  was interviewed on Mike Mahony’s Living the Scriptures programme on Radio Veritas.  She spoke of the need to support flood victims, many of whom have lost loved ones and everything they possess.
